Nota d'usoNon sempre l'avverbio italiano “abbastanza” è traducibile con enough. Enough si usa quando si parla di una quantità sufficiente a un determinato scopo: He's strong enough to cope without you, è abbastanza forte da farcela senza di te. Quite indica una quantità imprecisata, vicina al significato di “piuttosto”: It's quite cold today, oggi fa abbastanza freddo.
